For a man who wrote so many words, it is so difficult to write the words that truly convey his life, love and legacy.

Steve attended the annual Love & Hope Ball 19th February in Hollywood Florida, where Martha was able to catch hm for this lovely picture. Thanks Martha and big smiles for getting your hands on the man!
Earlier we at stcgib.com asked him how it felt performing last year.
Steve replied "It was a little nerve racking though ultimately one of the fondest memories of my entire life. It truly was an honor to share the stage with my Dad. I truly hope we'll get to do it again."

Sadly Ronnie James Dio, the father of metal died after a long battle with stomach cancer.
Steve managed to spend some time with Ronnie whilst forfilling duties as guitar tech in 2007 at hearing of his passing he sent the following statement.
"One of the greatest expieriences I ever had meeting one of my idols was when I met Ronnie James Dio . He was and always will be a true pioneer. A true metal god if ever there was one. But, what struck me most of all was how kind, genuine, and truly charismatic he was in person. Thanks Ronnie for all the inspiration you gave me when I was just a kid, and continue to give to me and countless others for many years to come. May your legacy be eternal. God bless you ... may you rest in peace."

On Christmas Eve 2009 Kirk released a statement announcing Steve's departure from the Crowbar line-up. He said
"... We of course all remain very good friends with Steve Gibb, but his personal training business and gym are doing great I'm happy to report, but that, and his family at home simply do not give him the time to play with Crowbar any longer. We love him deeply and thank him for his dedication while he was jamming with Crowbar."
