We mark the sad passing of Olivia Newton John, a long time close personal friend to the whole Gibb family.
Stephen, along with his father and brother co-wrote the song "The Heart Knows" for her And Friends: A Celebration In Music album, released in 2008. Stephen also played guitar on the track.
During Barry and Olivia's recording of "Rest Your Love On Me" at RCA Studios in Nashville for the 2021 released Greenfields album, Stephen was in the production team.

Stephen addressed the drive-in movie goers before the premier of the new Bee Gees documentary "How Can You Mend A Broken Heart" at the Gems film festival, Miami, Florida on 8th October. The documentary should be available worldwide in a couple of months.

Sadly the premier of Reefa at the Miami Film Festival had to be postponed due to the CoVid-19 vvirus.
On Thursday 5th Stephen will host the SoberJam on behalf of MusiCares (the GrammyÃ�ï¿½Ã�Â¢Ã�Â¯Ã�Â¿Ã�Â½Ã�Â¯Ã�Â¿Ã�Â½s charitable foundation) at the Gibson Guitar Centre. This informal event will be kicked off with Stephen performing with the house band.
On Thursday 12th as part of the Miami Film Festival Stephen will be attending the premier of Reefa at the Olympic Theatre. This independent film is the true story of graffiti artist Israel Hernandez Jnr who was killed by a police officer and the national outcry thereafter.
Stephen spent a couple of weeks in Los Angeles attending several events. The annual NAMM (National Association of Music Manufacturers) the worldÃ�ï¿½Ã�Â¢Ã�Â¯Ã�Â¿Ã�Â½Ã�Â¯Ã�Â¿Ã�Â½s largest trade-only event for music products, pro audio and tech was 16-19 January. He also attended the DimeBash gig, this raucous gathering of metal musicians and fans in memory of DimeBag Darrel and his brother Vinnie Paul of Pantera.
On to the GrammyÃ�ï¿½Ã�Â¢Ã�Â¯Ã�Â¿Ã�Â½Ã�Â¯Ã�Â¿Ã�Â½s. Friday 24th January Stephen attended the Musicares Gala held at the Los Angeles Convention Centre, honouring Aerosmith as their Person Of The Year. Saturday 25th January he attended the Nominee Reception at the Wilshire Ebell Theatre. Sunday 26th January he attended the 62nd Grammy Awards ceremony at The Staples Centre.

Jason Bieler and Jeff Scott Soto took to the stage at The Funky Biscuit in Boca Raton Florida, on Saturday 19th October.
Stephen joined them as guest guitarist for this light and fun set which was enjoyed by a packed room.
By all accounts the crowd were reluctant to leave (must be the power of the kazoo).

Did You Know...?
In the corner of the writing room upstairs at Middle Ear Studios stood a pinball machine. This was a gift to Stephen from Gene Simmons and the rest of Kiss.
In 1979 the first Kiss arcade pinball machine was produced by Bally, and stayed in circulation well into the 1980s. In 1978, Barry Imhoff declared, "there will be 20,000 Kiss machines." A Kiss pinball machine can be seen in the bar scene of the 1981 slasher film Friday the 13th Part 2.
Did You Know...?
Hurricane Andrew Relief Concert, 26th September 1992 at the Joe Robbie Stadium, Miami. Gloria Estefan put together a massive star-studded concert to provide relief to victims of Hurricane Andrew.
Stephen joined the Bee Gees as part of the band for the forty minute set. The event raised over US$4 million.
WRITERS CO-CREDIT :: A track on the Welsh songstress Bonnie Tyler's new album has been specially written for her by Stephen, his father Barry and brother Ashley, along with Doug Emery.
Seven Waves Away is a soft romantic ballard, very much reminiscent of Barry's style and emotion.
The album "Between The Earth And The Stars" will be available from 15th March across Germany, Austria and Switzerland, from 22nd March in the UK and most of the World, finally reaching the USA and Canada on 12th April.

Did You Know ..... ?
In the official video for Zakk Wylde's Black Label Society track "Counterfeit God" not only did Stephen appear as the 'skull and chains' guy but Mark Wahlberg was featured playing guitar.
At the time Zakk and Mark were filming for the film "Rock Star" and Zakk invited Mark to appear as the band's bass player. Shortly after this Stephen became the bass player for the upcoming tours and Ozzfest gigs worldwide.
All of us here send our heartiest congratulations to Stephen's Dad upon being awarded a Knighthood (in Her Majesty The Queen's 2018 New Years Honours List).
At the investiture ceremony held on Tuesday June 26th at Buckingham Palace, London, England by HRH Prince Charles, Prince of Wales, Barry received his honour and was bubbed, for his services to music and charity.

Following the devastating mass shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, Parkland, Florida, Saigon Kick (with some close musician friends) joined many acts at Revolution Live, Fort Lauderdale, to raise funds on Friday 23rd February 2018.
The event was a very positive and emotional experience.

How incredible was that!
On Sunday 25th June on the iconic Pyramid Stage at the Glastonbury Festival alongside Barry and the band, Stephen killed his vocal spot on "Gotta Get A Message To You" infront of hundreds of thousands of music lovers, which was also live streamed and repeated on BBC TV. He later remarked "Yes it was awesome, an incredible experience".
There was no time to rest, as Saigon Kick had three Texas gigs, which were sold out. Their infectious energetic rocking tracks entertained the crowds, ending with the infamous kazoo solos during "My Life".
The Gibb Collective debut album, Please Don't Turn Out The Light, is due for release on May 19 pre-order your copy via Amazon.com. Check out the official video on YouTube.

STOP PRESS :: Rapid Lion (South Africa's Oscars) has awarded Best Original Music Award to "Angels", used in the film Shepher'd And Bitchers, written by Stephen, Barry & Ashley.
The pre-cruise show for the 2017 Monster Of Rock Cruise was a loud spectacular affair. The cruise sets sail on the 2nd but without Stephen. We hope to share a photo or two on our FaceBook page.
On February 14th the Grammy's are hosting an evening of music celebrating the 40th anniversary of the release of Saturday Night Fever.
Several noteable names will perform songs from the film including seven time Grammy winning Barry Gibb, (along with his band). The evemt is being recorded to be aired later in the year.

The Gibb Collective is a project where various children of the Gibb Brothers cover their favourite Bee Gee songs. No release date yet. Updates will be in their FaceBook and web pages.
On his birthday Stephen and his Saigon Kick band mates flew to Chicago ready for their gig at Reggies the following day. During the gig some 2,000 rockers sang happy birthday to him.
Stephen couldn't hang around for long as he had a flight to catch. Arriving in London, England on the 5th he joined the Barry Gibb Band for the set up and run through for the Royal Variety Performance. This annual event raises funds for the Artist Benevolent Fund and is performed before members of the Royal Family, this year it will be TRH's Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall. Recording takes place on the 6th with airing likely to be Tuesday 13th Decmber at 7.30pm on ITV1.

It is with great sadness that we report the passing of Barbara Gibb, grandmother to Stephen. She died quietly at her Miami home Friday night [Aug 21st] surrounded by family and friends.
We send our deepest condolences to Stephen and all the Gibb family. This lovely lively lady who always held a radient smile will be greatly missed by so many.
The funerals will be private. Anyone wishing to make a donation in memorium may do so at Diabetes Research Institute
"In The Now" is set to be released in October 2016.
Barry's second solo album features songs co-written with Stephen (and his brother, Ashley), as well as Stephen on guitar. Press releases announcing Barry Gibb's signing with Columbia Records were made public on June 28th, following from his guest appearance with Coldplay at Glastonbury.
Details of the songs recorded for this album have not yet been released.

While Zakk Wylde [BLS & Ozzy Osbourne] was finishing up the mastering on his latest solo album Book Of Shadows II Stephen visited him at the studio in Santa Monica Ca.
Zakk and Stephen have been great friends since way back, Stephen was bassist for Zakk's side project Black Label Society.

At the 2016 Berlin International Film Festival the latest Oliver Schmitz film was debuted.
"Shepherds and Butchers" is about the South African lawyer who tries a multiple murder case, exposing the scandalous shortcomings of the justice system in his country as apartheid crumbles. During its end credits a new song called Angels penned by Stephen with his father Barry and Brother Ashley is performed, featuring Stephen's excellent guitar work, along with his fathers vocals and Vusi Mahlasela.
Dates have not been released yet for its worldwide cinema audiences or DVD.
The 42nd Love & Hope Ball will be held on Saturday February 6th at the Fontainebleau in Miami Beach. This annual black tie gala is to raise awareness and funds for cure focused work of the Diabetes Research Institute.
Saigon Kick will be performing at the pre-cruise show Sunday February 21st, as part of the Monsters of Rock Cruise.

Lenny Kilmister, a prolific songwriter and performer who influenced many musicians around the globe. Frontman of Motorhead, whose energy and skill entertained the fans for many years.
Also Robert Stigwood, a long time close personal friend to the Gibb family, as well as former manager of the Bee Gees.
